Chieveley Primary School
The PE and Sports Premium Grant is used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of primary-aged pupils to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles (ie, not cover for classroom teachers). This may be spent on resourcing, provision of extra-curricular clubs, enhancing our environment and on developing staff - in short, anything that means that our children get a rich PE experience while they are here! Each year, we report on our expenditure of this grant, which can be found below.
Our aim for this expenditure is for ALL pupils leave our school with a Futureproof approach to sports - ie they are physically literate and have the knowledge, skills, attitudes and confidence that will help them maintain a healthy, active lifestyle, and ensure lifelong participation in physical activity (including Forest School) or sport.
