Uniform Information
CHIEVELEY PRIMARY SCHOOL
School Uniform Guide & Policy Summary
|
Our Uniform Philosophy At Chieveley Primary School, we believe a consistent uniform promotes a strong sense of identity, belonging, and pride in our school community. Our uniform policy is designed to be fair, comfortable, inclusive, and affordable. To support families, branded items are kept to a minimum—while branded jumpers and cardigans are preferred, unbranded store-bought items in school colours (green and grey) are fully accepted. |

Bags & Daily Accessories
- Foundation Stage & KS1 (Reception - Year 2): Require an official Chieveley book bag and PE bag.
- Key Stage 2 (Years 3 - 5): Allowed a Chieveley school rucksack, which must fit all belongings (books and PE kit).
- Year 6: May use an appropriate bag of their choice.
- Water Bottles: All pupils must bring a clearly labelled water bottle daily. These should be taken home every weekend to be cleaned.

- Jewellery: Jewellery is not permitted, except for small, plain stud earrings (which must be taped over during PE lessons).
- Watches & Smart Devices: Traditional watches and basic fitness trackers (e.g., Fitbits) are permitted at owner's risk. Smart devices with messaging, calling, or camera functionality are strictly prohibited, even in school mode.
