Please encourage your child to have a lunch every day, they are fantastic!

Packed lunch

If you are providing a packed lunch, please note that in line with our Healthy Schools Policy, we do not allow sweets, fizzy drinks or chocolate. Please may I also take this opportunity to ask that you refrain from using peanut butter in sandwiches or including nuts in your child's lunchbox as we have a small number of children who have nut allergies.

Free School Meals due to low or no income

Did you know just registering your child for Free School Meals means that the school gets extra money to support your child in their learning? The Government gives extra money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best.  This funding is called a ‘Pupil Premium’. For every child registered at our school, (who is eligible for Free School Meals) the school gets a lump sum this year (with more to come), and the money is used to provide resources and extra support for your child so that they can achieve their potential.

Please register online at info.westberks.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals or call 01635 503622.   Just answer a few simple questions to register. No paperwork required. Register now (even if you don’t want to use the meals service!) so your child does not miss out out on funding.
