Chieveley is a happy, vibrant rural school with fantastic, balanced facilities... and staff! We would love for you to join our community!

We are the ideal school for working parents! Chieveley Primary School is within easy access to the M4 and A34, we have breakfast, after school and holiday care and a pre-school on site.

We are a popular school, however people relocate so places throughout the school do come up at all times of the year. It is always worth applying for a place. We do recruit many children from beyond our catchment area as we are based in a small village.

Starting school for the first time?

Please complete the application form for reception places on the West Berkshire website by the stated date (usually in mid January) for admission in the following September.

If you are looking for a Reception or Primary School place for your child please contact us if you would like to visit the school. between September-January, we run regular 1:1 tour slots with Mr M - contact the office if you'd like to come for a look around!

Joining us in Years 1-6?

We highly recommend that you come and visit the school before you apply.

Please complete the application form for in year admissions on the West Berkshire website.

Once you have received a letter from West Berkshire informing you, you have a place please contact the office 01635 248281 so we are able to make a transition plan for your child.
