At Chieveley, our mission is to help your children be Futureproof!
 

This means we aim to equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in ANY future. It is a place where we endeavour to nurture and celebrate individual talents. We have high expectations of each other, with respect and tolerance being intrinsic to school life.

Our teaching inspires and challenges, in an atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to 'have a go' and curiosity is fostered.

We are all encouraged to be reflective life-long learners.

We believe that teaching children how to learn will prepare them for the future. The children are taught the 5Rs as an integral part of their education; they are taught to be reflective, to develop good relationships with those around them, to take risks in their learning, to be resilient and resourceful.

Our aim is for children to leave school with a positive sense of self worth, confidence, and be equipped with tools to develop their potential in the wider world and to succeed no matter what the future looks like! Our School Development Portfolio sums it up:
