The PTA is here to raise money for the school and organise fun events for children and parents. We are a registered charity, run by an elected committee.
We run many successful larger events over the school year, including a Christmas event, Quiz Night, the Chieveley Chase and we also run a number of stalls at the Chieveley Village fete.
Alongside this we are also organising smaller events which will be changeable year on year. As Parents and Carers, the support you give in volunteering and attending these events will help us to continue to give money to the school to help provide the best experiences possible for our children.
Despite the pandemic of 2020/21, we have still managed to support the school by giving them money towards the new climbing frame (due for installation in May 2022), and also supported the school in buying Spanish resources.
The PTA aims to meet once a term to discuss fundraising ideas and other ways we can support the school.
The PTA meetings are relaxed and informal. Everyone is welcome with no obligation to volunteer for anything (although of course that would be great if you want to!)
As well as supporting the PTA events, you can make one off or regular voluntary donations at any time using the PTA bank account details, which can be found on the PTA newsletter each term or contact the PTA below.
