We are a registered charity and it is primarily our job to fundraise in order to help in the education of our children. We run many successful events over the school year including the Christmas Fayre, Spooky Bingo and Disco nights, The Chieveley Chase and the School Camp Out! Please attend our meetings and help all you can.
This year (2016-17) we have supported the school by
To raise funds for the school just click on the schoolangel logo above, all of the profit goes to help the school and you get exactly the same deal as if you had visited the retailers website direct. There is no need for you to create an account and we don't need any of your personal details. We will simply track your donation straight back to your school every time you visit School Angel.
We are a charity run by a committee elected every year consisting of a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. As parents of children who attend the school you become part of Friends of Chieveley Primary School (FOCPS) automatically and your support is invaluable. As a ‘Friends Of’ rather than just a ‘PTA’, other members of our community can also get involved to support our school – Grandparents who’d like to make use of their skills and experience for instance.
Over the past few years the FOCPS committee has worked hard to fundraise for projects at the school as well as organising fun events and activities for children and parents. We have held Bingo Evenings, a Quiz night, had stalls at the Chieveley Fete, held The Chieveley Chase and of course the biggest fundraiser of the year, The Christmas Fayre. We’ve also held fun events which aren’t fundraisers like Bulb Planting at the Village Hall, School Discos and Coffee Afternoons.
We have raised the money to fund projects including the new library and the multi-surface play area.
If you feel that you could help with the valuable work that FOCPS undertakes we would love to hear from you so that we can continue to support the children during their time at our wonderful school.
